Faulty Timeline

A.M. Morgan

I had it all mapped out thought the road to my desired destination was short

However, fate would prove it longer with many of my footsteps taken in the dark

Slowly revealing the very things, that insecurity likes to pretend to hide behind with a hardened heart

Seeking to advise and alter the direction of my life my destiny said, "Be patient seeking to control everything is your greatest fault."

Taking two overly confident steps forward the three steps back humbled me back to an unconventional start

I said and did the very things I thought I would not only to learn some hard lessons from which to heal

Only to have to swallow the mirror of my own judgment pill

Yes, this is a tale of my faulty life's timeline

Often much different from what the actual reality of my life reveals
