Faux Fur

We see beautiful fur bearing animals every day. Just a few of these include foxes, raccoons, minks, coyotes, bobcats, lynxes and many others. But did you know that these animals are murdered every day for the sake of high fashion? Fur farms kill these helpless animals by anal and vaginal electrocution. This is so they do not damage the fur. This is sick and wrong. Sexually violating and killing animals should not be tolerated. Faux fur is just as beautiful as the real thing.

In Asia, cat and dog fur is on sale and labeled as rabbit fur. These Asian products are then sold to unknowing Americans. When you go to buy a new fur coat, think about your cats and dogs at home. How would you feel if they were beaten and killed to make your coat, would you still wear it? If the world knows about this I am sure that fewer and fewer people would purchase fur materials each year, thus decreasing and eventually stopping the murder of innocent animals. It is impossible for faux fur to contain cat or dog fur, for it contains no real fur at all, but looks identical.

The country of France kills more tha 70 million rabbits every year. If they continue at this rate, rabbits will no longer be seen in France. They will then ship rabbits from other countries to supply the fur farms. This will eventually lead to rabbits becoming extinct. Does it not it make you happy when you see a happy bunny hopping through a field? Next time you see one, imagine wearing that happy little bunny around your neck. Now imagine that the happy little bunny around your neck was the last rabbit alive. Keep rabbits from becoming extinct, buy faux fur.

Furriers are trying to convince consumers that real animal fur is eco-friendly. This is far from the truth. Before selling their products to you, they are loaded with chemicals to keep them from decomposing. Fur production pollutes the environment. I am sure that nobody wants to put toxic chemicals in your skin. Next time you try on a fur product, imagine when you get it home and put it on the next day, it will burn the flesh off of your body. Protect yourself and the environment, choose faux fur.
