Favorite Smart phone

I am busy mother of a special needs child. Any parent needs a phone to keep in touch with their child and the world. A smart phone has become like an extra limb for me. It is attached to me, every second of the day.

The smart phone I choose is the droid eris by HTC. This phone is my perfect fit. It allows me to stay in touch with friends, family and my son. The features on this phone for HTC are touch screen capability, down loadable applications, alarm clock, text and media messaging, voice mail and so much more.

The applications I have found useful for my droid are the color note, color flashlight, and the navigator. There is so many to choose from. These are not the only ones I have downloaded to my phone. There are some games such as jigsaw puzzles, and racing games to keep me entertained.

Each HTC model is different. Honestly there isn't much difference. A smart phone has the capability of being customized to the customers wishes. The applications are unlimited to choose from. The alarm is able to have up to three different alarms. That is a sweet feature to have in an alarm system. If you miss one alarm, there are two more to wake you up.

A sweet application I have enjoyed the most is a music downloading app. This software allows you to download your favorite tunes and apply them to either as a contact ring tone, regular ring tone, and various other options. The music downloading software allows the whole song to be used for ring tones. No more half music tones for your phone. My HTC is all touchscreen. There are days where the touchscreen option doesn't work properly but is to be excepted of the software. Touchscreen is a wonderful feature if it works correctly.

This isn't the first smart phone I have owned. I previously owned a Samsung Saga. This phone was alright. The battery life on the phone was very horrible. I couldn't download any music unless I actually paid for them. It was a windows based and my HTC is Google based. The battery life on the HTC isn't too bad, it is better.

If I had to choose between which phone I would use or keep, it would have to be my HTC. This smart phone offers you so much more than the Samsung Saga. The screen was smaller, it wasn't touchscreen and the buttons were tiny. Tiny buttons doesn't agree with big fingers. The HTC is my favorite phone.
