Favorite YouTube Video Bloggers or Vloggers

The Internet has revolutionized over the past 10 years. Not only the Internet is cheap, it provides a faster connection for people to download huge contents from the web. Because of the speed advantages, people are taking this opportunity to express themselves online.

Similar to web-blogging, video-blogging or vlogs are gaining popularity in the online community. Rather than using plain text, the online community is inspired to further express themselves individually through videos which they have uploaded online. Here are some of my favorite vloggers on YouTube - CutieMish, WeHoGirls, Lonelygirl15 and Munkyeye.

1. CutieMish http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJRhd3um6Ac

She is one of the first vloggers that I've encountered online. Although she doesn't update her vlogs frequently, she's already submitted 26 vlogs in YouTube. She's actually a Chinese girl residing in England so you might hear a thick British accent. Her vlogs received tremendous hits every since she started it on 19th January 2006. Her accumulated net traffic surpasses 3 million hits.

The link to her video above depicts one of her famous dance while playing the 'Fast Food Song'. I enjoyed watching all her videos as I think it's pretty entertaining. In one of her videos 'I hate CutieMish', http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3_Doy9HFeQ, she pretended to be four different person which I think is hilarious! This video alone received 191,481 hits since it was published 7 months ago.

2. WeHoGirls http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQkeKBB-S-U

WeHoGirls are another group of vloggers who are inspired to gain fame and popularity through their vlogs. They started their vlogs on YouTube since September 20 2006 and have submitted a total of 178 videos.

I particularly enjoyed watching WeHoGirls because they depict a real life drama where real people and emotions are involved. You can get a taste of real life gossips as well as girls chatting on their favorite fashion subjects and subjects regarding men in the vlogs.

The video above is one of their latest vlogs that was updated into YouTube 18 hours ago from the date of the publication of this article. It shows a flashback on previous video footages shot in the past by the WeHoGirls.

3. Lonelygirl15 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoD3BTTZGnE

Lonelygirl15 gained tremendous popularity in the past - she even appeared in the local newspaper. She started her vlogs since May 12 2006 and her profile on YouTube itself has over 10 million page views ever since. Since subscribing to YouTube, she has submitted a total of 110 vlogs in her profile.

The link above will bring you to one of her latest video on YouTube. She's talking about her Spring break that didn't go well. I like this video because it was shot outside and the video seems authentic. There are plenty of juicy gossips by Lonelygirl15 in this vlog. The second part of the video shows two of her friends who were dead drunk and loaded into the back of a minivan - pretty hilarious as well.

4. Munkyeye http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8yNc_mpl8w

This vlog features one of Singapore's star blogger - XiaXue. XiaXue is a famous Asian blogger where her blog xiaxue.blogspot.com receives tremendous hits every day. In this video, she asked a couple of passerby in their opinion how many Cheezels rings she could stuff inside her mouth.

I like this video because it's pretty interesting watching a couple of girls trying to stuff Cheezels into their mouth.

These are the videos found on YouTube that I particularly enjoy watching. You can do a simple search on YouTube for more movies on famous vloggers by searching videos sorted by hits.
