Faye Dunaway was born in Bascom, Florida on January 14, 1941. She is gaining fame and popularity as an academy award winning actress. Faye grew up in a good family. Her mother Grace was a homemaker and her father John was an army Sergeant.
Faye attended Boston University where she majored in theater. She also attended the university of Florida to further her goal of becoming an actress. In 1962 she made her broadway debut in the show "A Man for All Seasons." In 1967 she had her first screen role in "Hurry Sundown."
Faye Dunaway's career really took off when she was nominated for an Oscar awar in Bonnie and Clyde. In the 1970s she appeared in a variety of shows such as : Three Days of the Condor, Little Big Man, Chinatown, Eyes of Laura Mars, and Network. In the "Network" she won an Oscar and Golden Globe Award fro best actor.
In 1995 she co-starred with Marlon Brando and Johnny Depp in Don Juan DeMarco. Faye Dunaway has been married twice. In 1974 she married Peter Wolf who was the leading singer of a rock group. Her marriage lasted for five years before they got divorced. In 1984 she married her second husband Terry O'Neil who was a British photographer. They had one child named Liam who was born in 1980 through adoption. In 1987 the couple got divorced.
In 2005, she appeared on the show The Starlet which tried to find the next young actress for Hollywood. The format of the show was similar to American Idol and Faye served as one of the judges on the show. Her catch phrase from the show was, "Don't call us, we'll call you."
Faye Dunaway has also appeared in serveral primising television series shows as A Will of Their Own, The Twilight of the Golds, REbecca, The People Next Door, A Family Divided, Cold Sassy Tree, Christohper Columbus, Evita Peron and After the Fall. In 1985 she starred in the mini series Ellis Island in which she won a Golden Globe for best supporting actress. In 1984 she won the Golden Globe award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a drama series when she starred in "Columbo."
Later on in Faye's career, she wrote and directed her own film called "Yellow Bird." In 1995 she wrote her own autobiography and hopes to one day bring it to the leatre on stage.
