FBI Adds Child Murderer to Their "Ten Most Wanted Fugitives" List
Alexis Flores, Aka Mario Flores, Wanted for His Involvement of the Brutal Murder and Kidnapping of a Child
The national DNA database known as CODIS received DNA samples from the crime scene. On March 22, 2007, Philadelphia police were contacted naming Alexis Flores, from Arizona as the positive DNA match to this crime. The same day Philadelphia police issued an arrest warrant for Flores, as well as an Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution warrant. Flores is charged with murder along with other felonies, according to the FBI press release.
A reward of up to $100,000 is being offered for any information that leads police to the arrest of Flores, but they warn that Flores is considered dangerous, and people should contact the nearest FBI office, or law enforcement office. Flores is described by the FBI as being a Hispanic male, 5'4" in height with a slender built about 130 to 140 lbs. He has black hair with brown eyes. He is said to have scars on his forehead and right cheek, according to the poster on the FBI website. Flores could be using an alias, and has been known to go by the names of Mario Flores, Mario Roberto Flores, Mario F. Roberto, Alex Contreras, Alesis Contreras.
Other fugitives wanted by the FBI include, Diego Leon Montoya Sanchez, Emigdio Preciado Jr., Victor Manuel Gerena, Richard Steve Goldberg, Jorge Alberto Lopez-Orozco, James J. Bulga, Robert William Fisher, Glen Stewart Godwin, and Usama Bin Laden. Information about the fugitives can be obtained by clicking on their names. Photos are included on the website also.
