Fedor Emelianenko to the UFC?

Ryan Bruno
The will Fedor Emelianenko sign for the UFC saga shows no sign of ending soon contradictory to various sources that were reporting a deal was soon to be finalised.
MMAweekly.com have quoted M1 company president Vadim Finkelchtein as saying, "The UFC has their champions; we (M-1 Global) also have our champions and our representatives. We offered to have a co-promotion."
Dana White has stated on many occasions that the UFC would co-promote with any other MMA company never mind M1.
Dana White and the UFC reluctance to co-promote is understandable as the UFC have created a billion dollar company that is head and shoulders above any other MMA organisation and promoting a rival MMA company would not be a smart business move.

MMAweekly.com have quoted Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker as saying,
"We've had a good conversation about the strengths of what we do, and what we can offer," said Coker. "They had the meeting (Tuesday) with the UFC, and they're going to meet with a couple boxing promoters that have been calling up. You can imagine... he's like the hot free agent."
It is obvious that Fedor Emelianenko is the most sought after fighter in the mixed martial arts but it seems that his future in the MMA world is shrouded in the same mystery that he has exuded throughout his career.

    Save Fedor's legacy!

Vote here on who should be Fedor's next fight! http://kimonofighter.blogspot.com/

Fedor needs to fight top competition and the top-5 fighters are all in the UFC. The only way to get this done is for the public to overwhelmingly push Fedor - Lesnar, Fedor- Carwin etc
