We tend to ignore beauty treatments for the hands and feet during the winter months. sometimes we ignore caring for these all year long. During the harsh winter weather conditions, prepare your hands and feet to withstand the trauma of the weather. Your body will reward you for it later especially next summer.

Your hands and feet are faced with more harsh treatment during the winter than any other time of the year. We tend to forget daily care needs of our hands and feet during the cold months. Normally, the hands and feet are covered with either gloves or shoes and other care is forgotten. However, during the winter months, they are met with worse conditions than any other part of the body. Take time to prepare your hands and feet for winter month conditions now. In the summer when you see the result of winter care, your hands and feet will be more vibrant and lovelier than ever.

Nighttime Care For The Hand and Feet Care

Each night before going to bed, prepare your feet for recovery, healing and repair. During the deepest phase of sleep, our bodies go into repair mode. That is the time any and all healing is performed. During this time, you can enhance the repair and recovery process by rubbing your hands and feet in petroleum jelly. Massage the jelly into the hands and feet allowing your natural body heat to soften and soak the petroleum into your skin. After massaging the petroleum jelly into your hands and feet, cover them with either a plastic wrap or a plastic shopping bag. Use shopping bags from grocery stores or even the ones you bring home new shoes or clothing in from department stores.

Exfoliate Your Hands and Feet

Exfoliating is a major beauty requirement that when performed regularly and correctly can change the appearance of your skin drastically. Exfoliate daily to remove dead skin and allow new skin to take over. As most of us know, our skin is the body's largest organ. Your skin rejuvenates every 28 to 30 days. When doing so, the dead skin sometimes does not want to drop off. So, it needs a little help. This is when exfoliating is required. Exfoliating to remove dead skin and allow new skin to grow can decrease the appearance of dead crusty skin on your hands and feet. Allowing the dead skin to build up is the cause of those horrid points on the heel of your feet and under your toes. In addition, the appearance of aging can be decreased on your hands by exfoliating.

Hundreds of items and products are available offering unique ways to exfoliate to renew and beautify your skin. However, simply taking time to work with your body on a daily basis can save you time and money over the long run. Treating your body with care and using regular body maintenance tips can enhance your skin sometimes rejuvenating it to the point of its appearance when first born. We all long for skin that feels and looks like it is baby fresh and soft. Without reverting back to those days, you can refresh restore and rejuvenate your body by using a few regular beauty treatment procedures.
