"Come on..." Karin thought bitterly, dabbing her forehead with the back of her hand. "How long do I have to do this anyways?" The girl wondered to herself, as she glanced all around her. She was almost done cleaning the rooms in this one hallway, but was far from cleaning all the classrooms. The only reasons she was even working in the first place was because her best friend Brittany asked her for help. Her best friend was yet to show her face.
"I think I'm done for a while." Karin thought, smiling a bright smile. "Brittany's luck I cleaned one of these classrooms for her. She owes me big!" The girl thought, as she began walking down the long hallway.
Karin remembered when she was a little girl. She and her other friends used to attend this school, but that was more then ten years ago. The school had been abandoned only seven years ago. The school was being opened again and that was why Brittany asked Karin to help clean the rooms up.
Karin headed up a flight of stairs and began walking down the many hallways. She tried to picture herself as a little girl, carrying her books from class to class, talking to her friends as she walked down the many hallways. She almost missed those carefree days.
The girl finally stopped at a classroom near the back of the school. This was the last classroom she went into the last day of school. Opening the door the girl peered inside. All the desks and chairs had been cleared out. Besides a fine layer of dust on the ground the classroom was empty.
"What class was this again anyways?" Karin wondered to herself, as she walked into the classroom.
CRACK! SNAP!
Karin cried out in horror as the floorboards beneath her feet shattered and she began plunging through the floor. Just as the girl was about to pass all the way through the floor and into the classroom below she stopped.
"Huh!?" Karin said, her heart was pounding in her chest. The girl saw she didn't pass all the way through the floor, but fell until her chest was nearly covered by the splintered wood. "OH CRAP!" Karin cried, grabbing the side of the floor and pulling. She was smiling and laughing about what had just happened, but her smile vanished when she realized she couldn't move her feet or pull herself out of the floor.
"CRAP!" Karin cried, grabbing the sides of her head and yelling loudly. Her voice echoed and reverberated off the walls. "HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME!" The girl cried, cupping her hands around her mouth. "This is great..." The girl breathed, after a few minutes had passed.
Suddenly the girl heard the sounds of footsteps slowly approaching the room. At first the girl thought it was Brittany, but a scarier thought entered her mind next. "Oh crap!" Karin said, the color in her cheeks drained. The girl could almost imagine a man standing exactly seven feet tall, wearing a horrifying Halloween mask strolling into the room wielding a hatchet, machete or chainsaw.
"W-who's there...?" Karin stuttered.
Brittany suddenly appeared at the rooms threshold. "Me." The girl said, in a small voice.
Karin breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh thank God! Help me out!" Karin said, holding out her hands to Brittany, but her best friend didn't make a move towards her.
"One second." Brittany said, reaching into her pants pocket and removing her cell phone. "I need a new background for my computer."
"YOU JERK!" Karin roared, pointing a stern finger at her best friend. "You get your butt over here now..." She began, but Brittany turned on her heels and began walking away. "Before I kick... HEY!"
Karin could hear her friend heading down the long hallway, soon her footsteps vanished and the girl was once again alone. "Not cool Brittany!" Karin cried. The girl glanced down at her chest. She thought about reaching for her own cell phone in her pants pocket, but it would have been impossible to reach it. Not from where she was.
Karin was about to give up hope of ever escaping when she felt someone tugging off her shoes. "Huh?" Karin said startled. "What's going on? BRITTANY!" Karin yelled, hoping her voice would reach her best friend. The girl yelped when she felt a pair of fingers raking across her stocking feet. "HEY! STOP THAT!" The girl snapped, trying to pull her feet away, but it was impossible. The ceiling of the classroom below kept her feet perfectly still.
The fingers began raking up and down the girl's ticklish soles. Raking up and down the middles, over the heels, up the arches and between each of her toes. Karin closed her eyes tightly and tried to keep her laughter in, but as the tickling picked up and the seconds slowly ticked by she found it harder and harder.
"NOT FAIR!" Karin cried, as an explosion of laughter escaped her curled lips. The girl wriggled in the hole and pounded the floor with her fists. The girl's cheeks grew bright red, her chest heaved as the laughter continued to spill out.
Karin felt her socks being yanked off her feet. Now her bare soles were being attacked. She felt the fingers slowly raking up and down her tender soles, and then begin scratching them mercilessly. Karin's laughter was booming now and her struggles were more frantic.
The girl kicked her legs as hard as she could, but couldn't budge them at all. She pounding her fists hard against the floor, wriggling violently in the hole and then tried to pull herself out again. No matter what she tried she just couldn't escape.
The fingers began tickling each of Karin's toes. Teasing each of them.
At first the fingers touched the middles of each of her toes and then began teasing each of them one at a time. When each toe received a good tickling the fingers dug between each of them and tickled the skin between.
"STOP! PLEASE!" Karin screamed, at the top of her lungs. She felt like she was dying.
Karin wasn't sure if her tickler was ignoring her pleas or simply couldn't hear them. All she knew was the tickling wasn't stopping.
"Are you ok?" Came a voice.
Karin looked forwards and saw Brittany standing in front of her once again. "WHAT... THE!" Karin said, through her ticklish laughter. "I... THOUGHT..." The girl tried to speak, but the task was impossible.
"Carrey's here. She's the one tickling you." Brittany said. "Sorry about that."
"HELP!" Karin cried.
"Ok." Said Brittany. The girl strolled over to her best friend, but before she reached her a loud snapping sound could be heard. "Whoa!" Brittany cried, sinking into the floor directly in front of Karin.
"CRAP!" Karin roared, angrily.
Brittany had fallen to her chest as well. "I'm stuck." Brittany said. The girl looked down at her chest. "Uh-oh." She said.
"What?" Karin asked, annoyed.
"Carrey... She's taking off my shoes." Brittany said.
Karin watched as a goofy grin creased her best friend's lips. Soon the girl was laughing hysterically. She pounded her fists against the ground and tried to wriggle out of the hole as well, but the task was impossible.
"You should have stopped her!" Karin snapped, but burst into laughter when she felt a pair of fingers raking across her bare soles. Both Brittany and Karin laughed hysterically together.
The tickling continued for several minutes until it finally stopped. "Thank you..." Karin breathed, resting her head on the floor. Both girls felt exhausted. Their cheeks were bright red and sweat was trickling down their brows.
"Hey girls." Carrey said, moments later.
"I HATE YOU!" Karin snapped, pointing angrily at her friend. "HELP US!" The girl snapped.
"Sorry." Carrey said, giggling. "Couldn't resist a pair of beautiful ticklish feet. Just give me a minute. I'll get some help." Carrey said, vanishing.
"Good thing she didn't walk in here." Brittany said.
"Yeah." Karin nodded. "You know she's going to tickle us some more right?" Karin asked, sighing deeply.
"Yeah." Brittany said, nodding.
A few moments later the girls started laughing hysterically once again as Carrey raked her nails across their ticklish feet. This time the girls knew they were going to get out of the hole, they just didn't know when... Or what they planned to do to Carrey when they got out.
