There is more trouble brewing for the Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones. According to NFL.com wire reports and an Associated Press article posted on ESPN.com, the suspended NFL player will face two felony charges stemming from an altercation that preceded a triple shooting inside a Las Vegas strip club this past February.

No one has yet been named as the shooter in the incident in which three individual were shot, including two club bouncers and a female patron. One of the bouncers who was shot in the left hand and torso was paralyzed from the waist down due to the incident

Jones was drafted with the sixth overall pick in the 2005 NFL draft by the Titans, and he has become more infamous for his off-field issues than his play on the field. Since he was drafted, he has been involved in 11 separate police investigations, including the most recent one in Atlanta, reports NFL.com. Police there are looking to question Jones about a shooting that took place outside a strip club early on the morning of June 18th.

Las Vegas prosecutors have charged Jones with two counts of felony coercion and have issued an arrest warrant in connection with the incident that took place inside the Minxx club. According to ESPN.com, a Las Vegas police report describes how Jones tipped the dancers on stage by "making it rain," which means to shower dancers with money from a black plastic trash bag. The report went on to state that when two dancers fought over the money, Jones allegedly grabbed one of the dancers by the hair and punched her. Jones is accused of swinging his fists and threatening the life of club employees who tried to intervene, including an account of biting one bouncer on the ankle.

Charges have also been brought against Robert "Big Rob" Reid of Carson California a bodyguard of Jones and Sadia Morrison of New York, two other individuals allegedly involved in the incident. Reid faces one charge of felony coercion from allegedly attacking a bouncer who was trying to restrain Jones. Morrison faces charges that include coercion, felony assault with a deadly weapon and battery. Morrison allegedly hit a bouncer in the head with a champagne bottle and attacked several other club employees with a chair and a stanchion, according to ESPN.com.

Coercion is defined as the act of threatening or physically interfering with a person trying to do something that he or she has a right and responsibility to do.

Each account against Adam "Pacman" Jones carries a maximum fine 0f $5000 and 6 years in prison. If convicted on both accounts Jones could be fined up to $10,000 and sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Jones and some of his entourage are now being sued by the paralyzed bouncer. I hope he wins a big chunk of money from Jones. Maybe it will encourage him to straighten up and ditch those people who are dragging him down, although I doubt it will save his NFL career.
