FEMA to Serve as Police Under Martial Law

Suppose there were another 9/11 type attack; and suppose that Americans decided to rush the streets with their much deserved righteous indignation. Isn't it good to know that FEMA is here to keep us safe from tyranny? A plan called REX 84, or Readiness Exercise 1984, is set up to detain hundreds of thousands of people in concentration camps right here in the US. Originally stated to be for the detainment and housing of illegal immigrants in a mass exodus situation, it is believed that these some 800 camps around the US could be used to detain US citizens.

Some even believe that FEMA could use these detainment camps to hold US citizens who oppose a sanction that imposes martial law. Some ask the question of why FEMA didn't immediately respond after the Katrina disaster. Is it because rescue isn't in the FEMA instruction manual anymore? Since Homeland Security took over it seems to a lot of people that FEMA is designed more to be a first responder in cases of civil disruption, rather than in cases of natural disaster.

There is even talk on the web that Bush/Cheney will pull no punches when it comes to their seemingly imperial grab for world domination, and full executive control of the US. It seems that their goal is complete control over the National Guard. These provisions give full executive power to the President over the National Guard, not requiring him to get permission from local government authorities. Are these provisions for our protection? Or is it possible that were being set up for complete government control, penned over to Big Brother by President Bush himself?

All of these 800 camps are fully staffed and ready to go, yet are empty otherwise. Rex 84 made it possible for these camps to be built from shut down military bases. Why do we need 800 prison camps that are not being used for what they were supposedly designed for? If these camps were indeed put into place to detain and house illegal aliens, then why aren't illegal aliens currently being caught, at the rate of thousands a year, being placed there?

Reports also indicate that these camps are to be run by FEMA. Why would an organization used for disaster first response need 800 prison camps that can hold thousands of prisoners each? These new laws give the President the power to declare martial law with little more than his signature, a proclamation, and the signature of the Attorney General. It seems to be, to this writer, a little too simple to me.

Two other plans reported to be in the plans for the current administration are Garden Plot and Cable Splicer. These operations, respectively, are designed for take over of local and state government, and population control. This is just more evidence that convinces some that the Bush/Cheney administrations true goal is total control of the US population. Unfortunately, we will not know what the true motives of the current administration is until it is too late.
