Female Infertility; Some Facts

Female infertility is very complex. It is asymptotic and complex in the sense that the symptoms are not easily detected as in other health problems. Female infertility is very complicated as it is related to the internal mechanism of the female reproductive system. Well, a woman comes to know that she is having infertility problem only when she fails to conceive.

Though the symptoms of infertility are hard to be noticed, conditions like obesity, fluids from breasts, abnormal growth of facial hair, hormonal imbalances, irregular menstrual periods and excessive acne are considered to be the signs of infertility.

Well, what are the factors that lead to infertility in women? Polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis and pelvic inflammatory disease are considered some of the factors that make it hard for women to conceive.

There are other factors that also can be a reason for not conceiving. Abnormalities in the fallopian tubes, ovulation problems, surgical problems and diabetes can also lead to infertility.

Apart from the normal infertility, certain women also face secondary infertility. This secondary infertility is a condition in which woman face problems in getting conceived after the first child. It is normally attributed to the decrease of eggs in the ovary. When one ages, there is a possibility that the eggs also show a decline in the number.

Though female infertility is on a rise in the world, there is nothing to worry as the scientific world has answers to the infertility problems.
