Feral Friends Community Cat Alliance Needs Volunteers - Richardson, TX

Feral Friends needs volunteers to help with cat/kitten adoptions each weekend.

Adoptions are held every Saturday and Sunday from 11-4 at PetSmart on Coit Road North Dallas, TX.

Each shift works with a partner so you will not be alone.

Due to schedule and life changes the agency has lost many of their adoption counselors and will have to cancel some adoption days if they cannot get help from volunteers.

In unrelated pet news, the Humane Society of the U.S. (HSUS) is having their annual Spay Day Pet Photo Contest. Presented by Zazzle, you can enter through Facebook Connect. In other HSI news, the organization, as part of their long-term commitment of trying to repair the devastating effects to animals in Haiti last year after the earthquake, has collaborated with Best Friends Animal Society and local partners to build the country's first animal welfare center and low-cost vet hospital where further training for local vets is provided.
