Fergie: I was a Lesbian

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has admitted to having a series of lesbian relationships.

The singer, who also has a burgeoning solo career, revealed that she rebelled against her parents and her strict Catholic upbringing when she was 18. As a result she went on wild sex and drug sprees and blames it all on that upbringing.

"I have had lesbian experiences in the past. But I started having sex quite late on - after I was 18. I was raised a good Catholic girl. I won't say how many men I have slept with, although it's not many, but I am a very sexual person," Fergie said.

The singer apparently also got drawn into the drug and gang culture of Los Angeles. She said, "I had a gun put to my head during a drug deal that went wrong. Luckily I got out of it."

Fergie, whose real name is Stacy Ferguson, says she eventually got hooked on crystal meth. Crystal Meth is a powerful amphetamine that can cause users to stay awake for days and experience powerful hallucinations.

The singer admits that she was lucky to come out of her drug problems alive. She spent time as a drug dealer until a deal went bad and almost cost the singer her life.

"When I was going through my out-of-control phase, I could have got into some very dangerous situations. But I never sold my body - ever," she said.

Fergie, 31, has been rumored to be a lesbian for years and is far from the first celebrity woman to admit to having done some lesbian experimentation.

Celebrities who have admitted to same-sex shenanigans include Angelina Jolie and Madonna, among others.

Fergie is starring as a lesbian with Quentin Tarantino in the new movie "Grindhouse," and said she based the role on her own lesbian experiences. So it comes as no coincidence that she decided to reveal the news about her lesbian past now.

This won't be Fergie's first time acting. Before starting on her musical career, Fergie was a child star appearing in the 1980s U.S. sitcoms 'Mr Belvedere' and 'Married With Children'.
