Ferndale City Government Giving Runaround Over Medical Marijuana Facilities?

Two weeks ago, I sent emails to the members of the Ferndale City Council, and to the office of Mayor Craig Covey asking some questions about possible regulations that the city of Ferndale will be implementing on the medical marijuana facilities opening around the city. I was very disturbed by the responses that I received.

I received an email response from Major Craig Covey's office stating that any questions about medical marijuana facility regulation should be directed towards to Ferndale City Council. I received one statement from the office of the Ferndale City Council that stated that my questions should be directed towards the Ferndale Police Department. The Ferndale Police Department stated that my questions should be directed to the Ferndale City Council, or the Mayor's Office.

Now, mind the fact that I stated in the emails that I am a writer who was interested in having questions answered about the regulation of the medical marijuana facilities in Ferndale. If a member of the press was given this kind of runaround, what type of responses are average residents of Ferndale getting?
