What's next for Ferndale? Current City Manager Robert Bruner is leaving for a higher-paying position in Birmingham. He has already given his 60-day notice, which will put his last day on Valentine's Day of 2011. The City of Ferndale is searching for his replacement because prepping the next city manager of the current city finances is of the utmost importance. Next year's budget may be $2.1 million shorter than this year's budget.
