If you are new to Ferndale or are considering a move to the city, then you may not know that Ferndale has its own school district. The district consists of one preschool, two primary (elementary) schools, an intermediate school, a middle school and two high schools.
Of the two primary schools, one serves children in grades K-3, while the other one serves children in grades K-6. The intermediate school is for children in grades 4-6, while the middle school is attended by students in grades 7 and 8. Both high schools serve students in grades 9-12.
