The Dodge #4 State Park, situated on land donated by Dodge Brothers Incorporated, is a state park that is operated and maintained by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. The park offers cross-country skiing in the winter and fishing, hiking and swimming in the summer.
Please note that alcohol cannot be brought onto or consumed on Dodge #4 State Park property.
This, along with the close proximity of the park to Ferndale, makes this park a perfect place to bring the whole family. You don't have to worry about disorderly behavior caused by alcohol consumption, and your children will only have enough time to ask "are we there yet?" once or twice before you can say yes, you are.
