Ferndale Residents Lead Police to Suspected Drug House
Neighborhood: Ferndale
Ferndale, MI 48220
United States of America
Ferndale residents are the best eyes and ears of law enforcement, and they recently proved that again. Neighbors in the area of the 300 block of East Bennett Street, which is just north of 8 Mile and east of Woodward, noticed that people were constantly coming and going from one particular home and were not staying very long. Multiple tips came into Ferndale Police and the Oakland County Narcotics Enforcement Team investigated.

After receiving a search warrant for the home, agents stormed the house with the help of Southeast Oakland SWAT and Ferndale Police. They found $10,000 in cash and over 10 ounces of cocaine, which has a street value of over $10,000. The two residents and suspected dealers were arrested after being pulled over separately while the raid was taking place. The two suspects are Larry Broadnax and Isaac Sheppard, who are both 30 years old.
