Festive Christmas Pies: Chocolate-Peppermint, Chocolate-Banana and More

Everyone seems to make or buy Christmas desserts to bring to a holiday get-together. Be different this year and bring a festive Christmas pie, instead of the usual cake or cookies. Pies are usually easier to make then a decorated cake, so this could be a time saver as well.

In this article, I will show you quick and easy festive Christmas pie that you can make with only a few ingredients. These Christmas pies will look as good as they taste, with fresh wholesome ingredients that look very festive.

Pies

In most grocery stores today, you can find those crushed cookie piecrusts just waiting for a filling. This is primarily the type of pies that we will be creating in because they are quick and easy and you can really make them festive Christmas pies with minimal effort.

Chocolate peppermint pie

You will need a chocolate cookie piecrust, cool whip, vanilla pudding, peppermint flavoring, and pieces of peppermint candy. We are going to fill the piecrust with a nice mint flavored vanilla pudding, and spread cool whip on the pie. To make this pudding, you simply need a few drops of peppermint flavoring, which will be added to the vanilla pudding, creating a nice peppermint flavor. Sprinkle tiny pieces on crushed peppermint candy on top of the cool whip. This makes a very festive Christmas dessert for holiday get-togethers where you need a dish to pass.

Christmas Reindeer Tracks

You will need a chocolate cookie piecrust, cool whip, vanilla pudding, mini chocolate chips, and one plain Hershey's milk chocolate bar. Mix the mini chocolate chips into the vanilla pudding, and pour this mixture into the chocolate cookie crust. Set the pie into the refrigerator so the pudding can thicken for about half an hour or so. Spread cool whip over the top of the pie, and shred the plain Hershey's milk chocolate over the pie, this makes a very delicious and festive Christmas dessert.

Christmas Chocolate Banana

You will need a chocolate cookie piecrust, cool whip, banana pudding, mini chocolate chips, a banana, and one plain Hershey's milk chocolate bar. Into the chocolate piecrust, slice the banana, arranging the slices so they line the bottom of the pie shell, and slides if you have enough. Mix the mini chocolate chips into the banana pudding, and pour on top of the sliced bananas. Set the pie into the refrigerator so the pudding can thicken for about half an hour or so. Spread cool whip over the top of the pie, and shred the plain Hershey's milk chocolate over the pie.

With these Christmas pies, you will be the talk of the party. No one will believe that that these Christmas desserts only took a short time to make.
