Festive Office Planning

Planning an office party can be a fairly entertaining experience. Creating an atmosphere that is pleasing to the sense or senses can be accomplished with humorous wit and creative ponderous joy. If you are fairly familiar with your co-workers you could create an ever tried and true suggestion box for them to submit ideas and or to help them allow an outlet to humor, suggest or remind one that they do not celebrate holidays. You can also create a vote box when the final choices are to be made. If you add a tip jar surely some idea can be made suitable for everyone. There are plenty of charities to consider, if one so chooses to do so, if a raffle is required or a unanimous vote is decided, and one must be held. Sometimes office parties leave the winner a bit perplexed when the prize is more than one can handle or stomach.

When decorating the office remember to provide word puzzle books, a chess set, playing cards or tiles, dominoes, dice or jigsaw puzzles that appeal to those who do not celebrate holidays, maybe provide a venus fly trap for visual entertainment, and or a feng shui compass for those who would just like to take a break from the splendor and possibly continue to add to the suggestion box. If you are working with cubicle space and break time, and only few co-workers, provided space and sensitive equipment might challenge creativity. Depending on the surroundings and dress code, you may or may not be able to use decor. If you are permitted and allowed to decorate using live plants, there is a variety of holiday related selection available at a nursery and online. Live plants are nice, but there is always the alternative, faux. Otherwise if available, the cafeteria or restaurant of choice mught be a nice place to exchange gifts or enjoy festivities.
