Fiddlesticks in Tempe is located on Elliot, about a mile east of the I-10, just past a huge Wal-Mart on the South side of the road, it's hard to miss. The fun center has a small arcade (not many new games there so if you're an arcade junkie look away!), a driving range, bumper boats, miniature golf, go karts, and a batting cage. In all honesty, Fiddlesticks is worth the trip mainly for the driving range and the batting cage, everything else they offer can be found at better locations within a 15-20 minute drive (yes I'll cover these other locations soon).
The coolest thing about the driving range is the fact that they actually have a second story level that you can golf from, so if you are not the greatest at golf you can still feel like a pro. You don't have to have your own set of clubs to play here, they have some decent rentals if you want to just go out and smack the white little ball as far as you can and the buckets of balls range from $5-$12.50. Krystina and I went for the batting cages, which were a blast! You can buy batting cage tokens for $1.50 a piece, but if you keep an eye out in your mail you can grab a coupon that will let you buy 3 get 3 free. A token gets you around 15-20 balls and you can pick the speed of the pitches, hop into the cage, and swing away like mad! If it happens to be a hot day out (anyone that's been to Arizona during the summer knows how likely those are!) don't forget to cool off with the bumper boats too! Don't plan your day around a trip to Fiddlesticks, but if you have an hour or two to kill before a movie or something, this is a great place to waste a bit of time.
Total cost $4.50 (6 tokens using the buy 3 get 3 free coupon - about an hour killed)
