All these years
Are ones that you don't want to waste
"Nobody cares" is what you feel
You are alone is what you think
All it takes is to get down and kneel
To the One that created everything
Get rid of these tears
You know you don't want them to be near
You'll always only feel alone
If you don't let go of your fears
Let go of these tears
(I know you're not gone)
And get into gear
(Let me reach you)
Lend me your ear, my dearest
So you won't be alone
Allow Him to be your true and one
(I know you're not gone)
Somebody cares
I care, He cares
You tear my heart
When you think that no one cares
Run to my arms when you even start to get down
And let's make a smile out of that frown
You are wonderful is something you must learn

Post a CommentYou belief in God comes through loud and clear in this poem as does your compassion for human kind. I also receive a lucid message of hope from your words. Uplifting.
