EA is back and has come out fighting for there latest in the fight night series. Fight Night Round 4 features 48 pros past and present, an impressive list that includes Muhammad Ali, Manny Pacquiao and Mike Tyson, with each boxer having their own unique fighting style and abilities.

The graphics of this game really show the power and performance of the PS3 system most impressive is the detailed skin and muscles that stretch and flex depending on a boxer's position. Every muscle/bone is emulated in the highest standard, as matches progress you can see the shine and sheen of sweat beginning to form on your pro, and fly off your opponent when you contact with a thorough punch.

The fighting mechanics of this game will keep you playing into the tenth round. Improved character interaction allows for an amazing level of depth every time you throw a punch it can be unpredictable and the game compensates for this. Your could hit dead on stunning your opponent, just graze him doing little damage, miss and leave your self open, or what I believed to be the most impressive is when both you and your opponent throw a punch they can collide stopping the two of you in your tracks. Although this game is very realistic and bases on standard boxing mechanics your player throws more punches and faster punches than the real fighter would but still is kept in check and not taken to an extreme.

Fight Night's Legacy Mode allows you to build your own fighter from the ground up, an interesting feature that this game integrates is the ability to upload an image of your self and placing it as your customizable character. Besides creating your own character you can choose from that extensive list of pros, then take him through a full career that includes training mini games, and regular fights. Besides this career based mode you can play online which is fun to a point, most online players don't use the strategy that Fight Night Round 4 has tried to implement and it just becomes a mass of quick paced punches and ultimately isn't too great. The design of online is effective it's just the opponents that disgrace it.

Gamer Performance with the controller can get achy at times due to the constant maneuvering the left stick to move and the right to through punches after a couple matches your hands begin to cramp but that is to be expected from any sport oriented fast paced game. Overall if you can take the cramps and truly love boxing or are just a video game fan than Fight Nights latest installment round 4 is a definite buy.
