Figure Skating Schedule for the 2010 Winter Olympics

Pairs, Mens, Ice Dancing, and Ladies

The 2010 Winter Olympics will be held in Vancouver, Canada from February 12th-28th. The Winter Olympics opening ceremony is at 6pm (PT) on February 12th. The Figure Skating events do not begin until the third day of the Winter Olympics. All the times for the Figure Skating events are in Pacific Time unless otherwise noted.

The 2010 Winter Olympic Figure Skating competition consists of pair programs, pair ice dancing, and men and women's single competitions.

The 2010 Winter Olympics is being covered by NBC. This Figure Skating schedule includes the times that the competition is scheduled for and the times that NBC has scheduled to televise these events.

4:30 pm - Pairs, Short Program (NBC Live Coverage: 7:00-11:00 pm ET)

Monday, February 15th: 2010 Winter Olympics Figure Skating Schedule

5:00 pm - Pairs, Free Skate * Medal Event * (NBC Live Coverage: 8:00 pm - 12:00 am ET)

Tuesday, February 16th: 2010 Winter Olympics Figure Skating Schedule

4:15 pm - Men's Short Program (NBC Live Coverage: 8:00 pm - 12:00 am ET)

Thursday, February 18th: 2010 Winter Olympics Figure Skating Schedule

5:00 pm - Men's Free Skate * Medal Event * (NBC Live Coverage: 8:00 pm - 12:00 am ET)

Friday, February 19th: 2010 Winter Olympics Figure Skating Schedule

4:45 pm - Ice Dancing, Compulsory Dance (NBC Live Coverage: 8:00 pm - 12:00 am ET)

5:00 pm - Ladies' Free Skate * Medal Event * (NBC Live Coverage: 8:00 pm - 12:00 am ET)

The American figure skaters to watch include Even Lysacek, the 2009 World Champion, in the men's competition. For ice dancing Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto won the silver at Torino and eyes will be watching to see if they can improve on that. Sasha Cohen has been an American favorite since 2006 but Americans will also be watching Alissa Czisny who is the 2009 U.S. Ladies Figure Skating Champion.

    I'm debating whether to watch - I used to be a total figure skating addict - glued to the tube - I'm afraid to get the monkey on my back again!
