Final 8 Boys Perform on American Idol

I watched American Idol tonight. I think the boys put on an excellent show. First up was Luke Menard. Simon did not like him, but Paula liked him and thought he did a good job. He has a high voice so he might have trouble with future song choices. I have a feeling he will not make it through to next week.

David Archuleta played the piano and sang Another Day in Paradise. They could stop the competition right now. He shines.

Danny Noriega is hard for me to watch. If I were a teenager it might make a difference for me. Simon hated him. Paula liked him.

David Hernandez has a very good voice and is a good performer. I don't think he was as good as last week.

David Cook played the guitar and sang a Lionel Richey song. Simon loved it and so did I!

Michael Johns sang Don't Forget About Me and I won't. He is unique.

Jason Castro is very talented. He sang without a guitar this week and his performance was effortless.

Chikezie had a tough song choice and I think this week was his best.

I think it is very hard to pick two boys to go home this week. I think Luke Menard will be one of them and I would pick Danny Noriega to leave. I don't believe the younger girls would feel that way about him though. I think the boys outshine the girls this year and would like to see them stay in the competition longer. I enjoyed the show very much tonight.
