Final Year Model Cars Before Facelift

John Sarkis
After 5 years of being "the most likely to succeed" of the smaller SUV's, the 2004-2009 Lexus RX350 is being put to pasture. Although this car was criticized for having a small cargo-area, and not particularly agile handling, like most if not all Lexus' it has an impeccable reputation for fit, finish, and dependability. The new model will have to prove itself for a couple of years before people feel comfortable buying it. As it's often the case, many new model year cars come with minor glitches and annoyances. The 2010 model year was redesigned and is schedule to make its debut soon. While the new 2010 model year looks impressive, it will have to be put to the test before if reaches the high statuesque level that the previous model did.

For a while Infiniti's where the best handling of the super-three luxury car models from Japan. When Infiniti created the "G" model back in the early 90's, it never could of predicted that it would become such a hit. For the 2003 model year, Infiniti tweaked the "G20," and turned it into the "G35." For the 2009 model year, Infiniti tweaked the "G" model again; which it now calls "G37." In European tradition, numbers signify the size of the vehicle's engine. The Japanese copied the Europeans and did the same thing; so "G" is the model and "35" and "37" is the vehicle's engine...a 3.7 makes the 2009 model year very powerful. As I stated before: like most Infiniti's it should handle quite well. Of course if you can get a good deal on the 2008 model; I don't see any reason why not to get it instead of the 2009 model; you could very well save yourself a couple of bucks in the process.

Although most Acura's have impeccable reputations, they usually fall short in "popular culture" when compared to Infiniti and Lexus. The wise amongst us might know different though. Acura's are very reasonably priced; offering both good looks and performance. The new Acura RL is impressive looking. The RL is Acura's top of the line automobile, so it's the most expensive car in their lineup. At around $45-$50,000, the RL is much more reasonable than the top line Infiniti's and Lexus'. A totally redesigned 2009 Acura RL is in dealerships already. The old model (2008) it replaced never really took of, and people just didn't care for its looks; although like most Acura's it had a very high satisfaction ratings among its owners.
