Finally Some Truth in the Tiger Woods Drama

An article appeared on the Sporting News website this past Tuesday (http://www.sportingnews.com/golf/article/2010-01-05/tiger-woods-absence-attributable-broken-teeth) regarding an interview that a former NHL hockey coach gave to a Montreal radio station. Only in the Tiger Woods saga could a person get a hint of what could possibly be the truth regarding what happened over the Thanksgiving holidays from a radio interview with a former NHL hockey coach in Montreal. Wow, that sentence still amazes me.

Burns claims that he was informed by a Floriday highway patrolman that Woods was hit in the mouth by a nine iron resulting in broken teeth. We all kind of know the story from there. Escalade in the tree and windows broken out in an attempt to get him out. If you have seen pictures of the wreck you know that the windows were not broken out to get to Tiger and the article I mentioned above talks about that.

The potential truth is so refreshing. I understand why Wood's camp would not have wanted this story getting out but I do not hesistate to say that if this story had leaked first we may have seen less drama than we have seen for almost the past month and especially the weeks right after. When you have the details that we had, the rumors and suspicion are only going to grow bigger and more malicious with each passing day. It's just to bad we had to hear the potential truth from a former hockey coach doing a radio interview in Montreal.
