Finally Somebody's Bringing SexyBack: Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveSounds Proves He's All Man

This year's ultimate catchphrase has caught on with everyone from my daughter (who has no problem bringing sexyback to her kindergarten class-I swear it wasn't me) to my friend's grandmother who claims she could show Justin her sexyback-ew.

In any case, Justin Timberlake's sophomore album-FutureSex/LoveSounds-has not only debuted at number one in this plus five other countries, but is in the top five in at least seven other countries as well. The Timbaland produced track had everyone so excited to hear the rest, one would question whether the rest was just as good. Did Justin deliver? You bet he did.

Justin breaths out every word, practically moaning in the title track which happens to be the first song on the album. Not to make his listeners too uncomfortable, he follows that with SexyBack, which all of us have come to know and love. Justin doesn't hold back on any of the tracks. Exuding sex, lust, and desire in each song, I couldn't help but feel as if the whole album was a bit reminiscent of a group I couldn't quite peg. And then I figured it out. I can't even believe I'm associating him with them, but here it goes-Cameo. There. I said it. Now let's move on.

Timberlake seems to channel not only his idol, Michael Jackson (not in the sexy way, trust me, but in the production of the music and in the way he sings them) but he also seems to channel Prince, and like I said Cameo in the yea, I'm wearing a shiny red cup on my crotch, gotta problem with that? Timberlake's whole album is a diamond encrusted cup that he wears on his crotch with pride, especially in his song Sexy Ladies. If ever there were a song that would make you feel dirrty this would be the one. Now I know what Christina Aguilera was talking about.

Damn Girl, has a great Motown vibe, as well as Set the Mood has a underlying Jodeci feel. All of the music on the album is reminiscent of another time. Mainly the time when weave wearing Rick James ruled the world, but in any case, most of the songs on the album are keepers.

(Another Song) All Over Again-kudos for original song title-is the most serious of all the songs. A slow stripped down sweeter version of Justin that we have all grown to lust. A perfect ending for a somewhat perfect album.

The production level on this album is spare to say the least and is not for those who may still very well remember the Prince/Rick James/place sexy hot artist name here. Those of you who remember those days may think Justin isn't being very innovative, he's just being a good recycler. For those of you who don't remember those days, Justin delivers exactly what you've been waiting for. FutureSex/LoveSounds is the safest way to lust after a man and not regret it in the morning.
