Everything I have learned since the middle of September, concerning Digital Communications, ends today.
If someone had told me five years ago that I would be a thirty-four year old man who is preparing to take a final exam in the subject of Digital Communications, I would have called him/her a damn liar.
I believe I have perfected the art of "cram-studying" this quarter and, with the rules of the class instructor during tests - "Closed book...open notes..." - I have literally taken every word out of each chapter and placed in my notes. I found this to be the best way for an older student with a job, a wife and three children to prepare for college exams.
And, to think, I will be preparing for another final exam tomorrow in Digital Applications.
Personal garbage placed on top of possible lay-off at work combined with a touch of laziness, lower back trouble and a cold/flu that I just cannot seem to completely shake has taken its toll and I am quite ready for winter break.
Perhaps I can get my 16' * 16' bathroom worked on during break. Perhaps I can focus on myself and learn a bit more about who I have become and remember a bit of who I used to be before I start it all over again come January.
I'm afraid I am going to find out what I am truly made of come that time.
Time will tell.
