Focus on creating wealth. Time is money. Your time is important and you should be rewarded at the right value. If you find yourself in a situation where your boss does not pay you enough, leave your position and find a better one, you need to trust yourself and the price you are ready to work for.
Now that you are making money, you should save that money. It means you cannot spend more than you earn. Avoid credit cards at all costs and don't spend more than what you are currently earning. Credits will kill your financial situation. You must focus on saving instead of borrowing.
Make a budget to save money. Know where you are spending money by analyzing your bank reports at the end of the month and know where you are getting your money from. Make categories like food, clothes, parties and allocate a budget for each category. Do not spend more than what is budgeted.
When you have succeeded in cutting down your spending habits and made a budget, you should be able to save money consistently. Now it is time to invest that money. Learn how to invest in stocks and bonds. Over the long term stocks are known to give 10 percent return annually. Remember that financial planning is about the long term. Read some book on investments and ask advices from professionals if you need. Be ready to pay for the professionals advices. If someone offers you a free investment services he must be taking a commission and his advices are just useless.
