Find Extended Sales After Cyber Monday

By tradition, Thanksgiving weekend -- particularly Black Friday -- guarantees all shoppers big-time sale on almost all products. Different stores have different and even outrageous gimmicks to lure shoppers from all walks of life. It can get as crazy as some stores starting the sale as early as midnight (following Thanksgiving) while some start at around 5 in the morning. With these early hours come the 'birds' rushing to the store and shopping like there's no other day of the year.

Well, if you aren't too crazy about getting up early or you may be too tired or you simply missed the Black Friday sale (for reasons beyond your control), there is Cyber Monday. This isn't equally as exciting as Black Friday if you're more of the "touchy-feely" shopper.

However, if you're accustomed to the online market, this day is certainly a great day to shop because this is an easy and reliable access to the best products with equally (if not even better) prizes as Black Friday sale. www.cybermonday.com lists over 500 online retailers offering one-day promotions and big-time sales. Aside from items on sale, retailers also offer their online patrons with free shipping and cash backs on certain items.

According to a report from CNBC, Yahoo, which hosts roughly around three million small and medium online businesses, had internet traffic problems today. The outage gave shoppers several transaction errors, which became very frustrating for the shopper and especially for the companies who had to do at least a month's preparation for the Cyber Monday event.

Anything can happen on a Cyber Monday. Not all e-commerce customers were able to take advantage of the different deals because they either fell victim to the internet traffic problems or they just didn't quite have the time. There is, after all, Tuesday and Wednesday (others extend throughout the week). Although not as many retailers will extend the sale on these days but nonetheless, you can still find some great deals for the items you need especially if you're looking for some holiday gift items.

Go to these websites to find some amazing deals to get what you need: www.walmart.com is extending Cyber Monday all week long (Monday to Friday) where they will feature approximately 60-75 items on sale and don't forget to look for their free site-to-store shipping as well. www.circuitcity.com is extending their sale (of at least 10%) on some of their items and you can also avail of free shipping for orders above $24 until Tuesday. www.ice.com has nine especially selected items on sale until November 30. www.classiccloseouts.com will have 25% off on all apparel until Wednesday plus free shipping on order $40 and above. www.overstock.com offers 10% off on non-media order plus free shipping on everything until Wednesday Midnight, MST. For more deals list, you can also visit www.gottadeals.com and www.fatwallet.com.

Thanks for all the information. Believe it or not, I ordered stuff on Sunday night and received it already. With free shipping, there seems to be no reason to go to the mall anymore for holiday shopping.

I'm glad that I didn't get a chance to shop on Cyber Monday...my internet connection was so terribly slow and unresponsive. I'm definitely confident that there will be more great deals from now up until Christmas. Thank you for the links to the extended deals, they're great. :-)

Thanks for all the links. I, too, did not take advantage of cyber Monday, but I would still like to shop online for great deals.
