Come dream with me off in my mind
Where no one is mean- only kind
Where I am free to be who I am
And my email box isn't cluttered with spam
Where I have friends that never leave
Where no one dies and no one grieves
Where no one hungers or ever thirsts
And no one is last, they're always first
Where chores are done by thinking it so
Where people can walk where they want to go
Where everything's pleasant and kind and sweet
Where you smile and wave at the people you meet
I come here a lot when I want to go
And I'd stay here forever... if it weren't so dull.

Sounds like a beautiful place to go in your head when this world gets too awful. Inspiring and positive!
Very right on spot this one is.
Awesome poem. Dolli! If only I could formulate my next article in my brain and watch it appear in wordpad! Life on AC would be so much easier :)
Nicely done.
Nice Mom
What a nice poem. The last line is intriguing. My favorite is "where everyone is kind and sweet".
Thanks Cathy! I had so much fun writing this one!
"...no one is last, they're always first..." That's where I want to be, too, Dotchi! Love this!!!! Cathy
