Find Horse Themed Christmas Stockings Online 2009

When you are a horse lover or you are friends with someone who loves horses, then you know that Christmas time will most definitely reflect that equine love for them. Fortunately, retailers know all about horse lovers who want to decorate for Christmas with horse-themed items so there are plenty of Christmas decorations to choose from. One item that is an important part of decorating for Christmas is the Christmas stocking. It can be hung on the fireplace mantle or, if there is no mantle available, you can hang your Christmas stockings anywhere you want. The other horse stocking is a needlepoint design with a bay horse and Christmas presents. NetEquestrian.com has a slightly different type of horse stocking. The stocking is their horse jester stocking and is in the shape of a court jester's shoe/boot with the spiral jester toe. The Laughing Moon has a mini white and brown horse stocking that is a needlepoint picture of a horse head and a poinsettia flower for $6.50. It is only four and a half inches in size and it is adorable. This horse stocking might make a good gift for the youngest horse lover or for the miniature horses in your life.

Horse.com has painted metal Christmas horse "stockings" that are merely decorative and not an actual stocking that can be filled with gifts. The "stockings" are twelve inches by six and a half inches by fifteen inches so they are a nice size to add to your horse Christmas decorating décor. There are three different painted scenes to choose from; one is in mostly greens and has a horse head, one is in mostly blues and has Santa and a couple of horses and the third one is in tans with a roper swinging a rope to capture his horse. They are currently on clearance for only $1.99 each.

SmartPakEquine.com has a couple of horse Christmas stockings that really are for HORSES! The first stocking is red fabric and comes personalized with your horses' name. It is filled with three dozen hard candy sugar cubes for your horse. The set sells for $15.95.

The other stocking is called "Mrs. Pastures Stocking." It is a clear plastic stocking shape with red and white candy cane design edges with a piece for hanging the stocking up. The stocking is filled with Mrs. Pastures cookies for horses that are made from oats, wheat bran, cane molasses, rolled barley, fresh apples and water. They sell for $5.95 each. Make sure to order one for each horse!

Horse Christmas stockings may not be easy to find but I think any horse lover (or horse) would be happy to get any one of the horse stockings listed in this article as a gift this Christmas. In fact, the only problem might be, how do you choose just one?
