One consideration is what part of town do you want to have your wedding? That may depend on where you live and where your family & friends live who will be coming. You want it as easy to get to as possible. Fortunately, there are chapels in just about every direction.
Another issue, has to do with the size of your wedding. Most weddings are 100 or so, and most Nashville wedding chapels can accommodate that many guests or more.
One reason couples sometimes choose a chapel for their wedding is because everything is taken care of by the staff, including details of the reception. That simplifies things and they figure that the staff is experienced and know what to do.
Will you have your own minister or officiant for the ceremony, or need the chapel to help you find one? Some have an officiant on call, or they may be able to help you find one.
Now for a listing of wedding chapels in and around Nashville.
Bridal Path is in the Opryland area, located right off Briley Parkway at Elm Hill Pike. This chapel has been in business for years, and does provide complete services including room for the reception. They serve weddings up to about 100 guests.
Clover Croft is actually a few miles south of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee. It is located adjacent to a new subdivision, tucked away and quiet. It is church-style in design, and yes there is room for the reception.
Juliet's is west of Nashville in Mt. Juliet on the main road that runs north and south through the city. It was a church originally and has been converted for use as a wedding chapel. It does have room for receptions.
Owen's Chapel is a church that is often used for weddings and is just south of Nashville in Brentwood . It is conveniently located on Franklin Road near the I-65 Concord Road exit. There really isn't room for a reception, so most couples plan their reception at a nearby restaurant or other facility in Brentwood or Franklin.
On the west side of Nashville, you have to drive out a few miles to get to the Montgomery Bell Chapel located in the Montgomery Bell State Park. It's a quaint stone structure nestled in the woods. However, there is no heat or air, so it is mostly used for spring and fall weddings. The Park has a restaurant and meeting rooms that can be used for receptions.
Chappell Acres, a rustic, country-style chapel is in Coopertown several miles north of Nashville. Behind the altar is a huge picture window framing the woods outside giving a year-round view of nature.
Finally, Dearly Beloved's, a rustic log chapel, is found in the Old Hickory area.
As you can see, when it comes to finding a Nashville wedding chapel you have numerous choices in different parts of town. This articles provides you an overview so you can have an idea of what some of the options are. Now you can dig a bit and find out more.
