Astronaut Memorial Planetarium and Observatory is an observatory located in Cocoa, Florida. It is a planetarium and an observatory. Cocoa is not to far away from NASA, located near Titusville, Florida. This observatory in Florida offers a large theater, exhibit halls and is located at Brevard Community College. This observatory in Florida seats 210 people, with its 70 foot overhead hemisphere. This observatory simulates the night sky for a astronomical view. There is also a roof top where you may visit to view all the stars and galaxies through a telescope at this observatory in Florida. The telescope is 24 inches in diameter! There are laser light shows in the planetarium for all music lovers to enjoy while visitng this observatory in Florida.

Fox Observatory is an observatory in Sunrise, Florida, in Marham Park. This observatory in Florida has been open since 1977. This observatory is open for public viewing every Saturday night and at times you can stay there till dawn to watch the sunrise. Robinson Observatory is owned and operated by UCF. This observatory is located in Florida, specifically in Orlando. Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month is when they are open for public viewings. The Robinson Observatory has been open since 1995. This observatory in Florida has a 20 inch Ritchey-Chretien telescope for your viewing pleasure. Also, the telescope and dome has the ability to be operated by remote. This observatory in Florida is expanding, so keep any eye out for two smaller telescopes to be added.

Last but not least is the Weintraub Observatory. This observatory is located in Florida, at the Miami Science Museum. This observatory in Florida has been through many changes since it has been opened in 1966. Mass growth and booming technology allows for this observatory to share the facility with the public. It seats up to 231 people and the projection dome is 65 feet in diameter. This observatory in Florida houses 2 Meade telescopes. Every first Friday of the month the planetarium has a free show and following is an Observatory session. This observatory in Florida is home to the SPITZ, (Space Transit Planetarium) star projector. There is also a wildlife center close by to visit before you see the stars.
