One of the spots that should be top on your list if you like tourist attractions would be Quincy Market. Quincy Market was once a meat shop that is now turned into a huge building full of restaurants as well as shops. The city of Boston will almost always use their historical buildings for something new. They rarely tear anything down. That is really a large part of Bostons' unique charm. Instead of ripping down an old landmark, they restore. That is what the city did to Qunicy Market. Now there are many school trips as well as tourist tours that are taken there. This area is the a great area to view historic Boston.
Do you love the show Cheers? Then you need to see the actual Cheers' bar. Where the show was supposed to take place is right in the heart of the city. You can even go inside have a drink. The minute you walk in you will be able to feel at home, just like they did in the show Cheers'!
Newbury Street is definitely another place to go. This area of town is the basis of old town Boston. What is it? Newbury Street is a long street with many kinds of upscale shops and restaurants. At one time these buildings were all schools or they were homes. These buildings are fun to see because they are the old and original brownstone row houses. Some of these buildings still house residents but most are now businesses instead. You can find the restaurants and shops on the bottom floors. Newbury Street is somewhere that you do not want to miss!
You will also want to check out the Museum of Science and the Museum of Fine Arts! These are some great places to go that where you will learn a lot! They both offer good exhibits that change every so often. The Museum of Science will show you some really cool scientific facts as well as artifacts. The Museum of Fine Arts will appeal to your more cultural sense with many outstanding exhibits!
You have no doubt hear of the Freedom Trail in Boston. If you would like a tour, then this would be a great way to see the city! This is because it goes through the sections of the city that will point out the most historical places. One of these is Paul Revere's home. You cannot tour it but you can see it still. There is also the State house and other historical places. You also have the option of going on the Freedom Trail yourself or with a tour guide. You may learn more if you go with a guide. However, it is completely up to you.
The Theatre District of Boston is also a great place to see! It has rows of playhouses that put on many productions that can be found on Broadway! Most of the theatres are very beautiful and are also historic.
The city of Boston is full of life, culture and is rich with history. You will certainly find yourself wanting to come back!

Post a CommentNo offense to the author of this piece, but I! am! not! that! excited! about! Boston! and I live here and love the city. Also, this is a tourist trap guide. Yes, see Faneuil Hall. Yes, do the Freedom Trail. Where are the tips on when to go, what to see there, how to get there? Boston is a complex city, and this is an extremely vague and rather silly article. Report, don't just toss random well-known facts about Boston! places! to! see!
