Finding Free Samples and Free Stuff Online

Quack
Everyone enjoys a free sample. Unfortunately, lots of people think the grocery is the only spot to find freebies. Not true. Finding free stuff is easier than ever and all you need is an Internet connection.

Open up a junk e-mail account. Companies will ask you for an e-mail address when you are filling out the forms for their freebies. They require an e-mail address because in exchange for the freebies, the company is going to send you excessive mail promoting its products. An alternative e-mail account will assure that your real account will not be overrun by and that you will not have to sort through junk.

Use a popular search engine to find specific freebies. I searched for "free sample cookies" and links to Nabisco products and Teddy Grahams popped up.

Visit the Web sites of large companies and see if they have an offers or promotions page. The offers may not include free stuff, but the bigger companies will usually have something worth the visit, like a sweepstakes to enter. A company coming out with a new product soon will often give away free samples of the product.

If you aren't looking for anything specifically, there are a good number of Web sites and blogs dedicated to collecting all the free offers they can find on the Web in one spot. A basic search for "free stuff" will get you there.

Follow your gut on whether a Web site with free sample offers is legitimate. Never give away personal information without being sure.
