Finding a House in Spring Valley New York

Spring Valley is a Village the lies mostly in the Town of Ramapo with the eastern part in the Town of Clarkstown. It is just about 25 miles north of New York City and the Metro North will get you to Grand Central Station in a bit over a half hour and the thruway runs through Spring Valley, making travel to New York City by car and to Up State New York and Canada an easy trip. It is faster to get to New York City from Spring Valley than from many parts of Long Island.

When you buy a home, you buy more than a building, you buy a neighborhood, a life style. It is just as important to know everything about that neighborhood as it is to find the perfect house. Only the combination of the perfect house and ideal neighborhood equals years of pleasure.

Spring Valley is home to some great places for family activities There is the Herb Reisman Sports Complex with Little League field, soccer field, sand volleyball courts, basketball and tennis courts, paved walking path, picnic pavilion, comfort station.
Tigers Den Park Tigers Den Park has basketball and volleyball courts and an in-line skating rink. Its sloped landscape makes it an ideal location for concerts.
Spring Valley Memorial Park
Swimming pool, lighted tennis, bocci ball, basketball courts and ball fields, playground and tot lot, exercise track, nature trails, picnic tables. Open dawn to dusk.
As you can see, Spring Valley is a very family oriented place to live In addition to the parks and recreation centers in Spring Valley, Rockland County is home to Bear Mountain State Park. Located on the west bank of the Hudson River, Bear Mountain State Park has a great many events going on all year long and is a great place for fishing and hiking.
