Finding love is in the mind of many people in every age of any background category. Finding Love, a loved one or a soul mate is on everybody's mind. The many stresses in life can derail of idealizing or picturing that "special someone."

Valentine's Day is around the corner. February 14th is approaching and a constant reminder by many ads on paper, on TV and movies. One week left to find love to celebrate Valentine's Day in 2010.

We are facing a tough time in this current economy, job losses and many other concerns. People even believe in the 2012 Mayan prediction. So how to find love in 2010? Where to go to find love? Who do we turn to find love? Ask friends in a terrible matchmaking?

Lately, many dating services increased; people want to share their lives with someone. Some people still believe in the chemistry process; but good romance and romantic love relationship start from friendship.

Here are some of 10 tips or 10 ways for people living in Los Angeles:

Community Cultural Events: Some other events as Santa Monica Pier.

Language places: Italian and French institute.

Museums: Getty Center, Friday off offers music event, and other artistic events. It is usually free.

Getty has a great restaurant and café bar.

Lounges: For example, Suki7 Lounge is a great place to talk, with a great DJ that plays music where people can hear each other. Therefore people are able to enjoy each other.

Nobu and other places around Malibu offer a laid back ambience.

Beach: Venice beach has a lot going on ranging from the cafes as "The Cow End," and other restaurants that are favored by the local goers.

Tours: City tours as Hollywood, Los Angeles City, Santa Monica and Malibu tour.

UCLA: events range from movies, exhibit and performances.

Travel groups: There are sites to sign up for travel in-group.

Cycling team: Join a cycling team for a cause; it is great for keeping in shape and meeting people.

Marathon and walk for a cause: There are many marathons and walks for causes.

Online dating services: It can be a good source to explore the field and options.

The important goal is to have fun. A single person can meet a possible next "amour" in some of these events without pretenses of sharing same interests.
Opportunities to find love are everywhere, from supermarket, shops, library and beach. The most important point is to enjoy life being you.
