Finding Love After 50

Finding love at any age seems difficult, but after the age of 50, most people would say is impossible. But the author of the book "Autumn Romance" says that isn't so and she was determined to prove it. Carol Denker met and married her husband Warren in her early 60's and is a real advocated of "new beginnings." She decided to travel the country and interview other couples who met and fell in love after the age of 50, and then she wrote a book about it.

"Autumn Romance" is a compilation of her interviews and is a hardcover book containing 132 pages of photos and stories about "29 real couples that found love in the second half of life. Their stories and photos are organized into the following six chapters:

Change (couples underwent a personal journey and then met someone special)

It's You Again (knew each other when young)

Out of the Blue (never expected romance)

Working Together (bonded through work or avocation)

Best Sex Ever (self-explanatory!)

Healing (relationship healed old hurts and promoted growth).

The book's Addendum includes a section on the Advantages of Autumn Love, and Words of Wisdom, thoughts and advice on love from the couples themselves. "

Carol says, "Writing "Autumn Romance," I met such wonderful people, who clearly deserved happiness - and then I became a witness to their late-life happiness! It was thrilling beyond words." Carol received a B.F.A. degree from Queens College and a Certificate in Psychiatric Art Therapy from Hahnemann Medical University. She also has a Masters degree in Humanistic Education from Marywood College. Her first professional writing job was for the Star Newspaper in Philadelphia where she eventually became an editor and then spent 2 years freelance writing. She also started her own community newspaper in Philadelphia and ran as editor-in-chief for 3 years.

The book is an easy read and enjoyable for anyone at any age. It offers hope for anyone at any age who is searching for true love.
