Finding the Perfect Christmas Tree in Buffalo New York

New York Christmas Tree Farms

Regina Sass
Being in Buffalo New York , you have a choice of buying your Christmas Tree from a re seller in the city or taking a drive of about a half hour or so to one of the Christmas Tree Farms in the Buffalo New York area . It will take you longer than the drive just to find a parking space in Buffalo during the holidays and it can be a hassle with the crowds and all. The trees in the city have probably been cut maybe 2 weeks previously. They have been sitting around without being taken care of, in most cases. Trees should be in water and the trunk should have had about an inch cut off in order to allow the water to travel up the whole tree. It is virtually impossible for someone with a lot full of pre cut trees to be able to do this. And they have been handled by who knows how many others before you. It can be a very hectic job going from one place to another in search of the perfect tree. Also, in order to have a good selection, you must shop early. You can go to a farm at about the same time and get a tree that is still in the ground, with a mich longer life span than one cut two weeks before.
When you go to a tree farm in the Buffalo New York Area, you know the trees are fresh. You cannot get any fresher than still being in the ground. The Christmas Tree Farm owners in the Buffalo area can give you the best advice on which tree would be right for you and in the proper care of the tree. It is a great educational experience for children and they will have a great time to boot.
So why not have an adventure this year and try one of these Buffalo New York area Christmas Tree Farms. In all likelihood, you will become a regular customer.

Have you ever been to a cut your own farm. The best trees are off limits, reserved for their bigger customers. The trees available are either a lower grade or miles off into the snow filled fields.
I trust my local nursery to tag some nice trees in the fall and have them ready for the top of my car a couple of days past Thanksgiving.
