My favorite site is ratracerebellion.com. Each week 4,500 to 5,000 job leads are screened, and the scams are weeded out. Today's Job Leads is a good place to start your search. Each day job leads from all over the country are posted. Jobs range from bloggers, medical transcription, service reps, freelance writers, and everything in between.
For every 58 work at home jobs that are advertised, 57 are scams. Rat Race Rebellion gives tips on how to spot these scams. Beware if a job promises you $5,000 a week for part time hours, or shows you enticing pictures of beaches, or sporty expensive cars. Successful scammers know how to lure you in.
A few classic scams still exist, and one of the most well known is stuffing envelopes. The lure of big money for such a seemingly simple job, reels in large numbers of unsuspecting people, hoping for a big windfall. You pay your money to sign up, and then receive instructions on how to get other people to place the same ads that you responded to. If you really think about all the automated equipment used to stuff envelopes, no one is going to pay you big bucks to sit home with a pile of envelopes and a sponge.
One of the neat aspects of this website is the Work at Home Thought Starters. Find your particular job classification from the list provided. It's an all inclusive list, and some of the suggestions are ones I probably would not have thought of. Do you enjoy entertaining kids? You might want to try being a clown. Do you have a gift for spotting talented people? A headhunter might be just the job for you. In order to find your niche, you may need to think outside the box.
Take advantage of the newsletter to stay on top of the latest job listings. Check out the freebies section for the budget challenged. Find out where to get the cheapest gas, or where to go to receive free or discounted food. Today's freebies featured free samples of gourmet popcorn, and a free Original Chicken Sandwich.
For great job tips and personal support, workplacelikehome.com is the place to go. Not only is it a great resource for jobs, but you can request prayer, and vent your frustrations about life in general. Rest assured that if you're ready to pull your hair out if the kids don't start school again soon; you're in good company with probably half the members on the site. Pour yourself a cup of coffee, put your feet up, and go through each section of the website. Become a member and introduce yourself. You'll soon have a lot of online friends, and maybe find that perfect work from home job.
