A fine meal at a nice restaurant is a great way to wrap up an afternoon spent enjoying the sights at Falls Park in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. There are several fine restaurants located within comfortable walking distance of Falls Park that offer a variety of atmospheres, meals and price points. The top three fine restaurants located in the West End of Greenville, South Carolina that I personally recommend are Rick Erwin's West End Grill, Pomegranate on Main and the Overlook Grill at Falls Park.

Rick Erwin's West End Grill

Serious foodies will be delighted with the menu at Rick Erwin's West End Grill, which reads like a literary piece of epicurean romance. Take these two menu selections, for instance: Beef Carpaccio ("thinly sliced chilled tenderloin served with olive oil, lemon, capers and Parmesan Reggiano) or Parmesan Crusted Grouper. If those don't get your motor running, Rick Erwin's prides itself on its grilled steaks, such as the Prime Sirloin Bistro Steak, an 8 ounce pepper-crusted steak with au poire sauce. For more exotic fare, consider trying Pomegranate on Main for some high quality Persian kabobs; you won't be sorry you did. The authentic, modern Persian interior of Pomegranate on Main has a cosy atmosphere for enjoying some fine cuisine and good company. Kabobs are available with seasoned beef, chicken, lamb and seafood with a side grilled tomatoes on a bed of Basmati rice. Vegetarian kabobs are available as well. If you do eat beef, consider trying the Barg Kabob, which Pomegranate on Main's menu describes as perfectly charbroiled "tenderloin, marinated in a traditional Persia marinade of onion and saffron." Overlook Grill

For fine dining with a stunning view, you can't beat the Overlook Grill with it's direct overlook of scenic Reedy River Falls and Liberty Bridge. Aside from their grilled steaks and other meats, the menu is packed with classics of southern cuisine, such as jambalaya, pasta dishes or shrimp and grits. Located at 601 South Main Street tucked right next to Libery Bridge.
