Besides the typical coffeehouse atmosphere, the Finest Grind has become a place to get connected with our community. The lobby has played host to friends get-togethers, mom's coffees, open mic nights, photography club meetings, fundraisers, and various other meetings.

The Finest Grind Coffee House is able to attract and keep loyal customers by their high level of customer service. It is a common occurance to see owners Alan and Dori Tripplett and their children behind the counter. Their other staff members are also great. Their warm personalities and friendly smiles aide in providing extraordinary customer service. There have been many times that I have met friends for coffee and gotten so engrossed with conversation, that I did not realize my order was up. Instead of the traditional corporate coffeehouse where the bistro would just keep calling my name, the staff has brought my coffee to me. In addition unlike other coffeehouses in the area, the Finest Grind will not make you uncomfortable to bring your children in for lunch or breakfast with friends. The staff caters to children's special needs; both my children have a love of hot chocolate. However , before the staff gladly indulges them in it, they cool it down to a kid friendly temperature.

Besides the chance to connect with the community in a pleasant atmosphere, the Finest Grind also offers great coffee and food. As can be expected, they offer teas, bottled drinks, and hot and cold coffees. With over 40 drinks to choose from, they are able to fix a great cup of coffee for anyone, including those watching calories. Their food menu is incredibly diverse. Breakfast includes options from bagels to yummy muffins. The lunch/dinner menu features paninis, salads, and sandwiches. The sandwiches come with a side of their amazingly good pasta salad with a perfect amount of oil, not too much but enough to get a good flavor. The Finest Grind also has a great variety of desserts featuring cannoli and gelato ice cream.

While their food and drinks are incredible, the prices are very moderate. Pricing is about equivalent to fast food restaurants combo meals. However taste is superior.
