Fire on the Lake
I was once like U
I didn't have the nerve 2 speak up...
I was once like U
2 afraid 2 move, 2 afraid 2 love...
U were once like me
caught in the cross fire from both sides...
U were once like me
2 afraid 2 give in, 2 afraid 2 die...
But as sure as there's thunder that rains down from above
as sure as the angels have targeted U 4 love...
I will be here 2 catch U when U make the great fall
when there's fire on the lake and we all must learn 2 crawl...
I heard all the stories
of the ones who will stay or will go...
I heard all the glories
that await us all, if only we follow...
I was once like them
caught in the cross fire from both sides...
I was once like them
2 afraid 2 give in, 2 afraid 2 die...
