The "Lazy Daze Music Festival at the Trax" is the brainchild of Leslie Ginn, Winder Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Ginn, along with her classmates in the Carl Vinson Institute of Government's Management Development Program at the University of Georgia, has organized the event as a class project. The purpose of their project is to determine whether Winder would benefit from an outdoor amphitheater, as well as whether a summer event series would attract out-of-town visitors to the northeast Georgia community.
