First Hand Advice for New Students at Morehead State

Morehead State University in Morehead Kentucky is a great place to attend college! It is where I met most of my best friends, and where I met my one true love. Nothing could be better than this college. They have the best professors, offer anything and everything for any type of student and have the best food known to man! However, if you are new to the college world, all of this could be a bit overwhelming. Here is a guide to the new comer. What to expect, where to eat and places to avoid! Enjoy!

Places To Eat

The best place too eat at Morehead state is defiantly the pasta place! They have the most amazing food you will ever try in your life! Rather you love marina or alfredo, you are going to love it.

Another great place to eat is the Taco Express! It is your ordinary Taco Bell, but everything is speedy and ready in about 2 minutes! How fantastic is that?

The Home Cooker is another wonderful place to snack at. If you love home cooked meals like chicken and mashpotatos or beans and corn bread, than this is the place for you.

Places To Hang Out

I know this sounds crazy, but hanging out in your dorm room is the best place to enjoy friends. You can listen to music, play games or just shoot the breeze as most people say.

Another wonderful place to hang out at morehead is at ADUC. They have a bookstore, cafeteria, smoothie place and much more! Rather you want to hang out and eat, or just relax and read a good book, ADUC is the best place to be.

Another best place to hang out at Morehead State is outside of Alumni Tower. Sitting on the steps at night is the perfect place to gather your thoughts and just sit back and enjoy the scenery.

Places To Avoid

One good tip about Morehead State, is not leaving your windows open on a Thursday night! Everyone usually goes home for the weekend so party night is on Thursday. If you do not want to hear obnoxious drunks outside your window yelling and screaming, then my suggestion is to leave your windows closed that night!

Parties

I know this might sound stupid, but do you honestly know how stupid people look by walking in their dorm room staggering drunk and puking everywhere after being at a party? The best thing is to avoid them at all cost.

Your Dorm Room 24/7

There is no point in spending thousands of dollars for an education if you are not going to use it. Put your money to use and go to class. If you notice you look at your walls more than your books, then it is time to do something about it.
