First Move Shuffle

Sweaty palms a new type of hand lotion
One never wants in impressing the guy they like
Tired waiting for him to walk over
Bracing the chair for support

Smile quiet and mild to not scare him away
Like a Cheetah running away from the hunter
Polite conversation masking fear and strong perfume
Relieved when he doesn't run screaming like a banshee
Jumping for joy on the outside when he said yes
Confident until it's time to go shopping for a new outfit
Nerves have multiplied in spades
Oy vey.
