Durell and LeeJohn are best friends who seem to always find themselves in some kind of trouble. To be honest Durell tries to go on the right path, but he allows LeeJohn to drag him into yet another bad situation. The latest get rich quick scheme is delivering a bunch of pimped out wheelchairs across town, but they end up losing every single one of them while trying to get away from the police. The judge is very familiar with the not so dynamic duo, and order them to 5,000 hours of community service.

When Durell finds out that his ex-girlfriend is moving with their son to Atlanta; unless she can come up with 17,000 to pay off a debt. He can't stand the thought of his son leaving, and makes the promise that he would do what it takes to keep him in Baltimore. LeeJohn comes up with the crazy idea to rob one of the churches in the neighborhood in order to get the money. At first Durell is a tad bit apprehensive, until he gets a call from his ex informing him that instead of a month he has a week to come up with the money. So they go ahead with their plan to rob the church.

When they break into the church they not only realize that they have plenty of company, but the money that they came to steal has already been stolen. The choir director, Rickey is a very colorful character and every time he opens his mouth something entertaining comes out of it. In one scene Durell forces Rickey to answer the door, because a couple of officers have stopped by. Rickey tried to give the officers a code that something was wrong by winking his eyes, but they thought he was just flirting; so they left.

The scene in this movie that really tugged at at my heartstrings, was between LeeJohn and Mrs. Doris sitting at the kitchen table. There were plenty of others as well that made this movie so enjoyable. Now I will admit that if you are looking for a movie that will make you double over with laughter; this is not that movie. Don't get me wrong half of the time it will make you laugh, and the other half shows that no matter how bad things are for you, have faith and know that a brighter day is coming.

Trivia - Ice Cube's son is the young Ray Charles in the movie Ray
Fun Fact - Rickey Smiley is in the movie as well

Tracy Morgan was so under used when he was on SNL and it was a real shame. He is so funny.
